I just had a friend buy a car from them and he said they are super sketchy

 

I would never buy a car from someone that I got told to stay away from. That is me. SV is rare, but not that rare, buy it somewhere else.

 

Have Prestige Imports do a PPI. They all look good in pictures.
It's probably a consignment car you can negotiate a good deal on. Be sure to leave there with the car and title in hand. No wires, no promises to deliver. If there's a lien, insist on communicating with the bank to effect pay off and get title. I've done this on many occasions. If they balk, run!!
I've closed a few car deals in bank lobbies.

I have not dealt with them, but read terrible things. I just bought an Aventador from these guys though, and can highly recommend them. They also have a white SVJ for sale. I had a deposit on an Green SVJ at Carrio a few months before I bought my 21' Blue SVJ... The PPI at Prestige revealed a ton of problems, missing parts, overspray of green re-paint and clear on the front bumper / hood, cracks in the carbon, etc... Basically BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK as you can not trust the sales people there. I've even heard the owner of Carrio say in a youtube video "I let the sales guys do their own thing and dont interfere" meaning he lets the inmates run the prison... the sales guys only care about getting their commission and seems that the owner doesnt care about the reputation. Carrio has become the Miami Influencer dealership though so they must have some crazy credit terms for the influencer crowd or something. There is videos from "Normal Guy Supercar" on youtube confronting the owner so you can hear it for yourself.

They probably do get good cars through their dealership but you mustnt trust anything they tell you. Lamborghini PPI is a must and make sure they check for Mileage Blockers too... super common now

Thanks for all the valuable information. I asked a dealer friend in CA and he said the car is clean, no stories but dealing with Carrio is a pain. What a shame because it's the spec I wanted.
