Was a thread on this a couple weeks ago. Please do a search before you start new threads. Ninety percent of the time when you have a basic question there is almost always a thread about it.

I don't care for blend mounts they are cumbersome and obstruct the view imo. I don't care for a mirror tap because I don't like suction cups and again you are obstructing the view. Here's what I did and am quite happy with it. I bought a 10 foot chord and tucked it in the headliner as it just slides in and brought it all the way around the back and keep it plugged into the cigarette lighter. It's totally hidden except for one two inch or so piece you can see in the pic. I can easily glance over and see it and thus it's not taking up any real estate by the rear view mirror and is not visible from the outside.

Blend mount did fit on my Evo but returned it after trying it out. It does block to much and is in the way. I use an Escort 360 Max and the new suction cups work great. And then like in all my cars i hardwire it to fuse panel. Very easy to tuck wire into trim down to fuse panel. I then use an add a circuit and put it on a fuse that turns on and off with car

Looks great, I love that interior!!!

Just curious, why didn't you mount it on the other side of the mirror so you can access it easier in case you want to mute it or mark a location? Or you just don't mess with it and let it be?

Wanted it out of the way and since I never have to turn it on or off I very rarely have to to access it, which isnt much of a reach if I do want to mute or mark

Someone asked me earlier in another thread if I was going to upgrade to the Valentine 1 Gen2 from my trusted and beloved V1. My V1 has been flawless. So I'm of the opinion why upgrade? Don't want to run into another situation like the Lambo infotainment system. To me it clearly was a downgrade.

On first look I can already tell you I don't like the on/off button and the two volume controls on the top. Ergonomics look/seem way better on the V1 - knobs vs. buttons. As far as bluetooth capabilities on the new one. I could careless. Bluetooth connectivity is not the end all be all. Most of the time you end up fiddle ****ing around to get it to work on almost anything. No thanks. I'll pass.

Does anyone know which mount will fit on the Evo?

Lamborghini Mount Options (You can select a 2020 Huracan, but it still gives you two different options)
FWIW I share the opinion that the blend mounts place the radar detector in a terrible spot - it obstructs your view across the windshield, it keeps your radar in a location that can be seen from several view points outside the car (even if you’re in a legal state like Florida cops do not respond well when they see the radar). And lastly they just look like they were concocted out of a black smith.. it has a very agricultural look in a beautiful car.

Anyways I posted my setup here:

I recommend the suction cups if you can find better suction cups than what comes with the Valentine. I’ve always had good luck with these even in the heat of south Florida in August!

Agreed fully! In almost every setup, a button on the top side is cumbersome. Love my Valentine one as is. I bought it ten years ago, and went to upgrade it last year and they sent me a brand new one. Great company in my view.
