Aventador Ultimae exhaust

i went back and forth on if i should add headers and ultimately decided to just stick with the inconel Brilliant exhaust. from everyone i spoke to, the headers just don't make much of a noticeable impact on performance or sound to justify the cost/installation process, that's why none of the big name manufactures produce them. since there's not much information out about the two headers that are in production, i worry since quality and durability are largely unknown. there just doesn't seem to be many guys who have these installed, at least not from english speaking countries who can report on build quality, durability, performance, etc. i can't make a decision based solely on sound clips, because even those weren't convincing enough for me to justify the risk. i don't want to tune my car, so i wasn't sure if adding these headers might require a tune as well.

ultimately, with all the unknowns, i just decided to pass. i would happily revisit my decision in the future if more information comes to light or some big name manufacturers produce headers, which seems unlikely at this point.

i have an lp700. my exhaust is at the shop getting installed currently. it does have a box. i wasn't aware they even made them without one, at least not the inconel versions. i know headers can make a big difference on cars.. it just seems like with certain lambo cars, headers are practically non-existent. i noticed a lot of manufacturers make headers for the huracan, a couple for the LP gallardo, and none for the pre-LP gallardo. it seems like most, if not all of the aftermarket headers for the Murci are for the LP models. maybe someone more technically savvy can chime in as to why this is the case. i would assume it has to do with the length of the factory manifolds already being short and ideal for both sound and performance and no real room to make a difference with aftermarket changes.

again, with the lack of info out there and with practically none of the larger vendors readily selling headers, i just wasn't comfortable putting them on my car. the installation process wasn't quite clear to me either.. i would want to avoid them having to drop the engine for an install. and i don't want a tune. fully catless is already going to be new to me, as i've only done high flow cats in the past. looking forward to hearing my new exhaust. from all the clips i've heard and reviews i've read, this Brilliant system should be exactly what i'm looking for.
