I have been redoing the entire interior of my 05 Gallardo. After finishing the engine bay and interior plastic panels, I am now on the seats and door panels.

Has anyone tried these LSeat.com Gallardo covers? The price is reasonable and they seem to have many colors. There is 600+ reviews saying the leather is great high quality, soft, good fitting. etc. But the pictures included in the review areas dont look very "snug" and have wrinkles. I have upholstered a few vehicles my self in the past and I understand that seat covers NEVER fit like the originals and can be a bitch to stretch over the old frame and foam.... but some people took the covers to the pros and they looked pretty damn good. I have ordered the swatch kit to pick colors... so we shall see if the color even matches.

Here are the swatches examples of color. Leather Swatch Sample (this is were most of the reviews for the site are with pictures)

Here are the Gallardo Seat Covers: 2004-2014 Lamborghini Gallardo Custom Real Leather Seat Covers (Front)

If anyone has any other ideas for someone in the Northern Detroit area in MI... I am all ears. Im not going to pay $40k for the guy in Dearborn, MI that did the complete orange replacement Gallardo interior.

I will share the final result here when I am complete. Thank you for any advice.

Just my opinion but I would go to a custom upholster and have the work done. In This case I think you will get what you pay for and it will fit poorly.

I looked into this for my Porsche. Decided against it. One major problem is colour matching. And DIY fitting seems to not produce the best fit - whether for the lack of effort or a manufacture problem one would never know with these soft squishy products...

OK.... Thats what I expected. I ordered the $3.00 swatch sample color kit because I dont think they can match the cream leather in mine. We will see.

All of the LSeat photos are of older ford Explorers and generic seats. The Gallardo seats are not that involved in the geometry department.... But I totally understand.

I had 2 RX7 "hammer Head" seats refinished 20 years ago locally by a old master...but the guy is dead now. :( So I guess I have to find a new shop to work with.

From my first post... "Im not going to pay $40k for the guy in Dearborn, MI that did the complete orange replacement Gallardo interior. "

I am aware of him. He is about an hour away from me and he charges $40,000 for that beautiful work but no thank you. I just want to throw about $5k at it and recover them to factory new standards. I love the stock look. Thank you though.

Back before I got my LP I was aiming for pre LP. I knew the seats would likely had to get redone. Old threads you might find will mention leatherseats.com as a solid source. You used to be able to ship them yours in so they can install them, not sure if you still can. I had saved pics from their Gallardo work but they're long gone.

Devo, what exactly is wrong with your interior? Photos would be helpful. Is the leather getting dull or worn and needs to be repaired? A good leather guy can fill/patch, redye and bring the seats back to showroom condition for a couple of thousand bucks tops.

I just got an email back from Venzano in Detroit. He said the price for 2 seats, 2 door panels and lower cream dash in a Gallardo was $17,950- $19,750. His work is amazing... but I am going to shop around a bit before paying that kind of change on some old Gallardo seats.

Here is the current condition of my seats and door panels. I dont think they can be dyed or "saved" as the red stitching will get dyed as well. Another problems I am facing is that the lower cream dash leather is fine... but Im sure it should be replaced to match the new shade of the seats.

I have even been combing Ebay for some fresh ones... but it seems my cream color with red trim stitching is stupid rare.

If I find a shop to recover the seats I can just order extra material for other parts of the car. I have done that before with many vehicles. So far... thats the route I think I am going to take.

The passenger seat has a stain on it that was "dyed" over.
