Hey guys, was hoping to gain some insight on this particular Blue 2020 Evo. It’s got a VF supercharger and has had low miles…. Hoping a forum member previously owned this car and could tell me about it. It’s low miles having changed hands a few times so I’m curious if reliability was an issue. I’ve attached a screen grab pic….. ilusso is selling it.

I don’t have an idea but my SA at Lamborghini Charlotte told me they have been reliable. Installation of a SC voids the powertrain warranty. Also, Ilusso as a company sucks, money hungry clueless reseller. I had a really bad experience consigning my previous car with them. Stay away if you can.

Yeah, Ilusso appears to put very little effort into their marketing/presentation. And I’ve noticed that some cars at other big stores find their way to them once they get stuck. There has to be some reason why so many are willing to consign with them, no?…….. Hoping the actual owner who did this build or someone that knows them can be found.

In most cases they have no skin in the game. They just get the details from the seller, add a mark up and post the cars on CarGurus or Autotrader. They have no clue about the condition of the car or what it’s about. Stay away! Do your own due diligence on the car and don’t rely on what they say to you to make a sale. You will often see that the car is located far away from where their showroom is.
If it has a VF kit, and installed by an authorized business, I can assure you it’s flawless. That’s all there is to it, 7lbs boost in to a very durable and reliable engine with excellent tuning, it’s gonna run forever, I have yet to hear of a VF SC that has issues. The only thing it will do is make you smile, no down time ever. That’s smiles per mile, and the factory power train warranty is not needed. See how many are being built to 1400 hp without any power train upgrades and it’s hold just fine. These are very very durable vehicles.

1400hp will break gearbox, shafts etc...trust me I know
A SC at 800-900hp is totally fine

Yes some break at 1400 and some last . I think it’s a matter of how
Much torque is being applied and how early it’s applied, but yes that’s about when it goes. But for a stock setup to even make it that far is truly amazing

Okay, ideally a VF kit on an AWD would’ve been preferred over a RWD. But I’m comfortable around high HP cars….. I’ll engage ilusso and go from there….. should someone who knows this car intimately, I’d appreciate a direct PM.
Rwd for the win. I’ll never go back to AWD, had a performante, I really enjoy the RWD. Not too crazy at all, very safe feeling also, until I get in my TT high Hp, then I go yeaaa that AWD might be nice, 😃, I still prefer RWD and don’t want the power of I need to go AWD. Something about RWd in a super car that does it for me. I save AWD for my SUVs, lol
