Any NEW STO Allocations?

4944 Views 94 Replies 32 Participants Last post by  Russk
I am wondering if anyone has received or been promised an upcoming STO allocation. My dealer was told he was getting 2 allocations and has only received one so far. That one has already been delivered. He said is still waiting for the second one which will be mine if it ever happens. I am just curious if new STO allocations are still be given to dealers.
Thanks, Russ

Yea but good luck getting them to include an oil change and some other things done on newer cars. They now use some algorithm to decide if your car gets certain things done at service even if service schedule shows it should be done. They refused to do my first year oil change even though it had been over a year

The price of oil would put Lamborghini out of business if they did free oil changes … heck I’d argue the opposite… get the vehicle in, and the shop will upsale everything else(golf shirts, detailing, accessories, etc).

yeah . Customer pay vs manufacture pay are two entirely different things and services .

one of the Mac dealers told me that service is included for 3 years on the artura . Customer pay would have been $800/year higher then manufacture pay

When I got it on mine I thought it was too good to be true.

It's funny because the Sterrato has 3 years maintenance included...

It might be like the Tecnica where they will just remove that quickly after launch.

Same thing happen with the 2021 STO. It was included at launch but a month later they removed it.

I feel like they realize the cars are cheap (inflation) so they removed the maintenance pack and things like “free electric heated seats” on the Tecnica - since they can’t raise msrp too high too quickly.

I have to review my spec, but I’m quite sure I paid ca. $4k for three years of maintenance. My car just had its first annual (2,000 miles) which was a complete check over, fluids top off and an oil change. Lamborghini Sarasota picked up the car, serviced it, cleaned it, and dropped it back off. That’s a big deal considering I’m 3-1/2 hours away from them.

In today’s world, where service seems to have become a thing of the past, I am impressed with the level of service I am receiving. I don’t ask for the earth, moon and stars, but the little things keep me satisfied and assure my loyalty as a customer.

As a FYI, Ferrari’s 7 year maintenance plan does not ensure an oil change every service interval. You need to have accrued a certain mileage (I think it’s above 2,500).

And finally, the 458’s been on track 34 times this year, and will have its 7th oil change of 2022 later this month! I’ve spent a small fortune on brakes, tires, fluids, etc.

That kind of service is rare, I am glad to see you were able to treated like a real customer.
