I get you. I'm brand agnostic, I just prefer what fits my needs/wants, and I collect as much information as possible, before making a decision.
I get you. I'm brand agnostic, I just prefer what fits my needs/wants, and I collect as much information as possible, before making a decision.I guess what im saying is keep an open mind. There is life after Lamborghini. I would agree with you Maclaren hasn’t got a great record, particularly on the earlier cars, but they do make incredible cars. Lambo is bound to be the more reliable but then not every Mac made is unreliable. There is more of a “luck of the draw” going on with the Mac for sure but not every one is going to let you down.
Old cars are staying, actually I’m gravitating more towards the modern classics lately. My Diablo is an SE30…. which I intend to take to the graveNo problem. People helping people should be the primary point of these forums.
Edit: I'm also very interested in one day picking up a 675LT, so no bias to steer anyone away.
Edit Part Deaux: Even more interested in picking up @Scrappy 's VT Roadster when he decides he needs to clear out more old cars to make way for new toys.
Ahhh...I just expanded your avatar and see that now. Actually thought it was the 99 Roadster in SE30 that Curated sold last year. Congrats....I would never let it go either.Old cars are staying, actually I’m gravitating more towards the modern classics lately. My Diablo is an SE30…. which I intend to take to the grave![]()
I am starting to feel the same and I believe so are others which is why these older cars continue to be on the rise.Old cars are staying, actually I’m gravitating more towards the modern classics lately. My Diablo is an SE30…. which I intend to take to the grave![]()
Im of similar mindset, but ive also learned not to let a few problems get in the way of sampling what life has on offer with these cars.I get you. I'm brand agnostic, I just prefer what fits my needs/wants, and I collect as much information as possible, before making a decision.
It’s interesting. Once you start looking backwards at modern classics you become more discriminating on new supercar purchases. The number of potential cars competing for your dollars increases exponentially and you start thinking more deeply about which cars check the most number of boxes rather than reflexively buying the latest thing.I am starting to feel the same and I believe so are others which is why these older cars continue to be on the rise.
Define “wins”?On a prepped surface, it's likely a toss up on which car wins. On the street, the 675LT won't stand a chance. On the track, the HP wins.
I'm sure that you are correct, that the 675LT is quicker than the STO, but not the HP.Thanks for sharing. Lap times don't lie... all I can say is that the 675 feels significantly faster in a straight line than my STO.
The HP has the advantage of AWD so it would certainly be ahead at the start of a drag race.I'm sure that you are correct, that the 675LT is quicker than the STO, but not the HP.
I also can't comment on fun factor. The 675LT may very well be more fun to drive on track, than the HP.
I agree with you on the 600LT and 765LT. However, the 675 is the result of a major transformation vs the 650S - everything from engine internals, suspension components and bodywork (widened) was upgraded. If I may chime in on the specialty factor too.
Sure there are only 500 LTs and they are officially number limited, but Mcl has put out LTs on every version since.
Some may disagree, but apart from being a numbered lightweight version it is not really special.
Despite higher numbers, the perf has achieved the ring record, features the ALA system and all that with a NA engine and AWD.
Touching on the ring times, I find it even more impressive that so far it was only surpassed by truly track-tailored weapons that are out of place on roads due to compromised interiors and less forgiving suspension set ups.
I’d love to drive a 765 soon. That is something I’m thinking of replacing the Perf with or go SVJ. All comes down to the test driveAh the good old “friends stories” 😂. They always tend to come up in these types of “which is bettter” discussions. The 765LT cabin feels way better inside than the Lambo - more accommodating, better viz etc. Sound is of course subjective, but both sound very good anyway. Comes down to personal preferences…. no deal breaker there.
Pretty certain if you drove one you’d lose interest in the Perf pretty quickly. I’m yet to come across anyone who hasn’t.
It's actually 500 coupes and 500 spyders so in reality, there are 1,000 675's not 500If I may chime in on the specialty factor too.

Now that is a dream garage - can't argue with that my friend. I really really want to drive a 765 LT now. I can't justify the jump in price from my Perf just yet, but as the prices start to fall for those 765s I would be very tempted.I have owned 12c, 650, 720, and have a 675lt spider and a 765lt spider.
I have owned every Huracan variant and own an STO.
I would sell every Huracan variant before the 675LT. The 675LT has been bulletproof. I feel the 675LT is faster also. Huracan does sound good.
No “I have a friend story”.
