I need some advice on what could be a life changing decision. Thanks in advance guys.

I've suspected for some time now that my wife has been having an affair. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out 'with the girls' a lot recently although when I ask which girls it is always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them". I always look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the drive although I can hear a car setting off. As if she has got out of the car round the corner. Why? Is it not a taxi? I once picked her mobile phone up just to see what time it was and she went beserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her. I decided I was going to hide behind my car which would give me a view of the whole street so I could see which car she gets out of. It was whilst crouched behind my car that I noticed a 3 inch scratch on my rear bumper.

Should I have the car repainted or should I buy a touch up paint and try to repair it myself?

My ex cheated on me... and then someone doored my car, it was a bad day. But I fixed the clearcoat myself and fixed it, all better. That was a long time ago. 3 Inch scratch? If it's deep I'd repaint it.

Have paint store mix up the paint and nowadays they can put it in a spray can. Little sanding, spraying, wet sanding, polish, and there you go.
Oh yeah, if you thinks she's cheating...she's cheating.

Raymond that sucks on both accounts.

I would just touch it up if it is small then go to just painting the bumper and if it does not look right then finish the rest of the car.

As for the other. honesty always works...or have a detective follow her.

Hire a private Investigator, that will solve the problem once and for all. You have all the evidence you need: Pictures, Video and probably phone conversations. She probably wont get anything if it comes to a divorce.

Thank God, the scratch was just superficial. My detailer was able to take it out with 50 grit sandpaper.


As for my wife, I decided to keep her. As soon as Roy commented that he was dropping her off in a Ferrari, I knew I was mistaken to have doubted her. As I know, she has more taste than to ride in a Ferrari. Now Roy, if you said, it was one of your Lambos, then I knew I would've really been in trouble.

I laughed all day and all nite, I must have told this story 50 times to friends last two days. Only I have no wife so I was talking about my girlfriend.....Truly one of the best I have heard in years.

Of course none of this was true. I knew someone would catch the 50 grit bit. If my wife ever read this, she'd probably kill me.
