I just installed a Xenon HID in my Diablo. What a difference! It was easy to do. ~$300. Really recommend it. I have written it up at

A q?:....How did you solve the problem of which HID's to order( If you rember there was a Q?)???

Itadmin, for 300ZX type lights in Diablos the HIDs have to be of the "9006" type. They usually come in 3 temperature/color ranges. I happen to like the blue/white 8000 degree type.

I did the exact same install on my 6.0 not too long ago. It was a huge difference. I purchased them from a separate company that offers a longer warranty and water tight seals, but I think they cost a little more.

Like you, I also mounted the ballast on the inside of the cover. That was the only place to make it work.
