Cars and watches goes well together. Any other watch lovers here? I have a pretty good relationship with my Rolex AD and AP boutique. On my birthday month as able to secure a GMT Sprite (Lefty) and a very special Khaki Green 50th Anniversary Royal Oak Chronograph. Definitely has been a good watch month!

What’s the diff of the 2 white dials? If nothing, why own 2? Investments?

I could sell for more but don’t really consider them investments. I got the second white one so that I wouldn’t feel bad about scuffing up my first white one by wearing it daily. Just sort of a mental thing. I had two Huracan’s once, usually have three of every gun I have, etc. its a good thing I’m good at generating cash.

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask a question about a watch I need to purchase? If not, my apologies & could the moderators of the forum owners move the question to the right place please? You may know why I asked this due to the brain injury I received & memory loss etc. Anyway I’m thinking of purchasing a gshock watch as supposedly it takes heavy abuse. I can fall allot when I take these seizures. It would be good if I walk into doors & walls. I was told that; some of the police/army/deep sea divers/people that ski all that sort of thing. They are high impact resistant time peace’s. Could anyone help me with some more information before I make a purchase. Thank you kindly.

Absolute solid watch and you can get anyone and not worry about it. Pricing is all over the place so just determine how much you want to spend or if not an issue find the color/look you want and you’re good to go. My sister-in-law is getting one for her boyfriend for Christmas based on my recommendation as he works in the auto industry and beats his watches up.

Not bothered about price, I have two bretlings one is band new & a gentleman is coming for it tomorrow. The other my brother would like to buy & my Tag just sold & gone earlier today. The Gshock model I like is:

GSW-H1000-1JR G-SQUAD PRO.

looks like it could take a bashing, I prefer all digital type as the other thing I struggle with is, reading the type with hands & I need one that shows am/pm. dates etc. For example, I woke up earlier & thought it was coming on morning. I looked at my phone to discover it was showing pm lol. So I’m back in bed & wide awake & not tired now lol. I may as well have a shave & shower as my body is always at its strongest before I take my large dose of medication. Then everything runs weak & I feel like sleeping again or worse; it usually brings on double vision & severe headaches. I fractured my lower lumbar with a fall one day in my kitchen that is still in pain. I had to rebuild my shower so that is safe for me, I have a bloody chair in there to sit on now lol. I don’t like that but it was needed. Think I’ll go ahead & make a purchase of the watch. Thank you kindly for the reply

Looks awesome but as an FYI - you’re roughly $20k too high if asking someone who knows how to buy watches on the secondary market. And truly, buying on the secondary now is like catching a falling knife. GLWS though!

Thanks for the prayers rasca. Just goes to show you that; with a blink of the eye you can be all perfect & living the dream enjoying life. To going to bed that nite then five months later you wake up in hospital!

Thank you! A quick look on eBay and Chrono looks like ~110K for comps, most listings using stock photos aren’t really available. But just putting it out there for anyone looking! 🙏🏽

Aaah right, this may sound silly but you know my issue for question sounding silly, What you say about stock photo; does that mean it may ppl ppl not be the seller’s real watch & just being lazy & using a photo from a dealer? I will check chrono now

For a Gshock you’re fine with stock photos. He’s talking about a $100k watch. For that it’s necessary to see real pix if secondary market unless buying from a dealer.

Unfortunately that chrono model will be too difficult for me to read. It’s really hard for me to explain without writing pages & pages of my brain disease. The more stress I put on my brain; it can cause allot of seizures plus blackouts. Even certain lights can trigger it all again. I have to wear dark or polarised glasses when travelling in the car with any of my family as; other vehicle lights can set it all off again. When I first got better from hospital & alloyed home. A few months later I had a relapse & was sent back to hospital & they had to put me into an induced coma for two months. So in total I was in a coma for five months. I still can’t write correctly on paper so; I had to insist my brother to write checks or do cards for me. That digital Casio looks the business. I like it has a hart rate monitor in it. Reason being is; I also received an irregular heartbeat after the coma/brain brain decease also. I told my doctor all this many times but; I never get a straight answer.

Well gentlemen; I just won/purchased the watch I referred to. Uk seller also so hopefully here fairly quickly. The seller has 100% feedback & thanks to Rasca for the help on pointing out that; allot of the sellers were, using the same photo or stock etc. The guys I bought from had, completely different pic also offering 6month warranty & I got the it at reasonable money of £240.!! That’s me treating myself to Christmas lol thanks everyone for the help & advice. When it arrives I’ll post up some pictures.
