Dear Experts,

I scratched the speed bump and cracked the carbon lips of diablo 6.0.
I think the bumper is made of glass fiber so the carbon lips must be glued together.

Anyone knows how to remove the carbon lips of the front bumper?
Has anyone changed or repaired the carbon lips only? The rest of the bumper seems OK.

Any comments are appreciated
thanks in advance

My understanding is the whole bumper is carbon fiber and the lips don't come off.
The Diablo bumpers up until the 6.0 were 100% fiberglass. The 6.0 is 98% fiberglass with some minor carbon reinforcements in various places - like around the lights. I can't recall how the visible CF "lip" pieces attach.

Looking at the oem bumper on ebay- as well as many other photos of bare bumpers I have= I am lead to believe that the carbon is a veneer. Take pics of your finding please!

I eventually hope to buy an OE bumper and create these pieces for my own project.

True.
The color of material underneath the paint is white as GF not CF.
However carbon lips is a whole carbon not wrapping carbon skin on GF.
