Even Lamborghinis come from the factory with paint imperfections. Or they can be scratched, etc. during transportation and/or dealer preparation. You want to get as close to pristine as possible before you put on a PPF.

Why did you need a paint correction on a 225 mile car?

A paint correction was the first thing I did when I got my new car. It is surprising how badly needed it is even on a new car, especially black. Also it is a good idea to correct the paint prior to installing protective film.
