I was cleaning the interior today and noticed that the passenger seat in my SL has a removable cushion. The driver seat does not have one.

THAT's removable? After 3 years of owning it, and now taking the seats out I'm searching to find out what those two little metal tabs are ONLY on the passenger seat...........

Car seat attachment points for a kids car seat. Govt mandated at some point. Looking at my manual it doesn't note that they are there though. I remember on my long ago NSX that the two for the seat were easily accesible, but there is also a third in the bulkhead that the Owner's manual told you to cut a hole in the leather to find it. Glad that was pre-kids for me.
