Never understood the 'looking to buy' ads when someone isn't ready to purchase. I suppose when looking for a rare car, one can assume a longer than normal wait period to find. He should probably pull the trigger though, not like one of these goes up for sale every month.

A trip to the local dealer will move it pretty quickly. Just all depends how much he wants your car

Very true, being that it is heavily modified, not sure. It has the Twin-turbo kit from AMS, putting out 900+ hp. 2012 6-speed V10. Real good build but takes a certain 'mad' customer haha

I have driven a 2011 V10 6 speed AMS twin turbo R8, they are awesome. You should have him contact Chicago Motor Cars, they have taken in at least 2 on trade in the last year. I'm sure they'd buy the car from him.

I have driven a 2011 V10 6 speed AMS twin turbo R8, they are awesome. You should have him contact Chicago Motor Cars, they have taken in at least 2 on trade in the last year. I'm sure they'd buy the car from him.

I spoke with Chi Motorcars. Basically, he wants to trade straight across for the Telesto, but the owner of it needs capital for a biz deal. Hope it goes to a good home from somebody on here before he consigns it to Lambo of SF next week and they mark it up to $145-$150k!

Hope you get it all figured out. If he really wants your car, he'll be able to move it, even if that means getting a few thousand less than he wants for his current car.
