Hello,
I'm getting CEL and code P0106 , I just checked and there are 2 sensors on the left hand and one on the right hand. There is only 3 or I'm missing one?

The manual refers to (2) of them, one for each bank. There is also a code for each one, but the code you have doesn't specify. It say's MAP CHECK FUNCTION SENSOR KO. So not sure.

Actually i have 2 roadsters, both same problem, one is running rich and got the same code, other one is running lean and can hear pops coming out from the exhaust. both same code, getting confused :/

can you give us more details (pictures?) or what you replaced and what with ?

I can see MAP sensors on eBay, or was it with Lamborghini parts ? (part number please?)

The part number is 07m919529A , i found it on ebay about 200$ each, you should take off the right and left covers, as you can see in the pictures theres 3 sensors, 1 on the right side and the one with white tape on the other side that needed to be replaced, didn't do anything with the third one,
The item is for 91-01 diablos and murcielagos 02-06 i think, same part number.

Ok, after a bit of searching on the web, it seems they Magneti Marelli Part number is PRT03/04.

I've photo'd mine close up and is says PRT03/04 2738BD - I'm not sure if the last 6 digit number is a date code or part of the part number.

Unfortunately I can't tell from your photos in the forum, whether its the same code 2738BD or not - can you advise please ?

I have emailed Marelli to see what the 6 digit code means.

If it is PRT03/04, they are on eBay for many italian cars for around £20 ($30).

Both works! ill post the old one and the new one.. you should get it from ebay, it will work and its much cheaper. 03/02 is the old one replaced with 03/04

Map sensor basics:

PRT - regtangular model, and black in color
APS - round (old) model , black color (there are blue also)

Are you sure you do not get error light with 03/04 are you guys runing with these?
I get error light with them and that is rated to max 105kpa

btw, always change them both, as i get error light if i use old one and new one simultaniously

I have the same issue now, error P0106 and just ordered a pair of PRT03/04 sensors... but are there 3 of these? I think i only saw 2.

I saw the pics of Nsalsabah and i think these sensors could be different? 03/04 being replaced by 03/02 i think looking at the specs will give a much leaner mixture if im correct. Because it has a wider pressure range than the 03/04 MAP. Just guessing...

Btw I've also seen different brands selling 03/04 sensors but the voltage range on the lower end is not always the same. Even if 03/04 is branded on it, some sensors dont go below 390mV, while i think the original one goes down to 250mV. Should affect the mixture? Im not the specialist.

Where did you see spec of 03/04 vs 03/02 being different?

This sensor comes in three variants:

PRT 03 = 15 -> 105 kPa
PRT 02 = 15 -> 200 kPa
PRT 06 = 15 -> 250 kPa.

As best I can tell, the /xx number after the base part number is a revision code with 04 being the latest PRT 03 version.
