Really? Thanks for letting me know, but they have not made 10,000 Performantes
Article doesn't say 10,000 Performante if you bothered reading it...

Collectors Alert! This is your opportunity to own a truly special piece of Lamborghin’s history. Being the 10,000th Huracan from Sant'Agata Bolognese, it witnesses Lamborghini as one of the most iconic sports car manufacturers to achieve 10,000 cars on one single model.
This Performante is in Verde Mantis, which pays tribute to the #63 Huracan GT3 champion car. The car also comes with autograph from Stefano Domenicali, special 10,000th Huracan door sills and a plaque showing its special identity.

I'll be shocked if they reach 2500 let alone 5000. The EVO AWD isn't selling so it'll be up to the RWD to make up for the shortfall but even the RWD coupe with options is almost a $300k CDN car so it's not like they're going to fly off the shelves.

Speaking of EVO's, dealers have started spec'ing their STO's last week. The car in insane and from what I've heard from a few dealers the STO will be limited production because each dealer is getting set allocation and Lambo is has the final say on who gets a car which wasn't the case with the Perf. I expect Perf prices to take a hit once the STO officially announced.

Anyone know if this is also the case in the U.S. market too?

I don't think sales are slowing down by a significant margin. As you can see from this article, 2019 saw 2,139 Huracan sales. They don't break them down but by this point those must be Evo sales as the Evo went on sale in early spring of 2019 if I remember correctly.

That's maybe slightly less than the previous Huracan's average which calculating from Wikipedia is 2,415 per year

Note there have not been an official release of the 2020 numbers so it is possible that due to this crazy year there was a drop in sales, but we'll have to wait a bit for that.

yet another lambo which will sit in the garage.

i love they use 10.000 to define it as special. 10.000 is per definition not special.

I'd actually get number 666. That'd be special.

10000 is actually very special. You get 100 with square root of 10000. Also you get 4 with log 10000. And there are 1229 prime numbers between 1 and 10000.

:ROFLMAO:
This reminded me of the TV show The Big Bang Theory and why 73 was the best number.

Of the EVO is going to be around till 2023 which seems to be the common thought they should easily reach 5000 units. The RWD should sell very well at that price point.

The EVO RWD will do well but the EVO AWD has been struggling to sell because the price point is just too high. There's a reason why used Perf coupes are selling like hot cakes, buyers would rather buy a Perf over a EVO AWD. Perf will hold it's value whereas the EVO AWD will drop like a rock.

The biggest seller for Lambo will be the Urus. Once they introduce a hybird model and performance version sales will climb even more. Remember, the current CEO capped production but who knows what the incoming CEO will do. He/she might increase production.
