So I had an oil leak that was pooling and dripping from the cross member near the engine bell housing joint. Thought it was main seal but cleaned it well and it dripped one or two drops over a couple of days and then stopped for a couple of weeks. Today the leak is back.
Any insight into where the oil could come from other than the main seal?
The pictures are after clean up but I didn't see oil coming out of the two holes in the bottom of the bellowing.

Thanks.

It's either engine oil (rear main seal), transmission oil (input shaft seal), or clutch/throwout bearing oil (brake fluid). You can usually tell which kind of oil it is. Transmission oil is pretty stinky and thick stuff compared to engine oil, and brake fluid is very thin and dry feeling.
