Just so you are all aware when you go to the dealer to change the rear transaxle fluid on all Gallardos they use "Genuine Audi Fluid part#G052171A2"I'm about to do a differential fluid change and have been reading a ton about MTL and MT-90 here on the forum. My question is does MT-90 contain friction modifier like MTL does? My 04 recommends 75W-90 , so that's MT-90 GL-4. I see a bunch of you guys using MTL and are very happy with it, but wondered why you are not using the recommended 75W-90 MT-90?
Thanks.......
I recently added 5 quarts of G052171A2 plus one bottle of 'Genuine Mopar Fluid 4318060AC Limited Slip Additive" and the diff is now very quiet....just need to see how much longer it lasts than Redline.
I tried both Redline MTL and MT90 and my diff chatter came back quick...would not recommend it...
In the front diff I changed it using LUCAS 75w90 Differential oil and works great
