I came up with a workaround for the battery tender hook-up on my STO that others may find useful or not.
I will describe each photograph in order as to what's depicted for greater clarity. The provided solution is not perfect but it works for me because opening the Cofango every time I want to hook-up the tender is a pain in the, well, ya know.
Images described in order:
1. Magnetic attachment point in Frunk
2. Magnetic cable that comes with the CTEK maintainer
3. I twisted a black tie around one of the small vent openings to secure it in place
4. I then secured the cable down with the tie
5. Purchased an 8 foot CTEK comfort extension* and attached it the original cable
6. Small opening between the Cofango and the underlying plastic with the attachment/connection point feed out said opening
7 - 9. Additional pictures of the setup
10. When I disconnect the battery tender for a drive, I affix the pictured watertight cap.
