I came up with a workaround for the battery tender hook-up on my STO that others may find useful or not. :giggle: I will describe each photograph in order as to what's depicted for greater clarity. The provided solution is not perfect but it works for me because opening the Cofango every time I want to hook-up the tender is a pain in the, well, ya know.

      Images described in order:

      1. Magnetic attachment point in Frunk
      2. Magnetic cable that comes with the CTEK maintainer
      3. I twisted a black tie around one of the small vent openings to secure it in place
      4. I then secured the cable down with the tie
      5. Purchased an 8 foot CTEK comfort extension* and attached it the original cable
      6. Small opening between the Cofango and the underlying plastic with the attachment/connection point feed out said opening
7 - 9. Additional pictures of the setup
      10. When I disconnect the battery tender for a drive, I affix the pictured watertight cap.

      Cute red/blue stop-help poles you've got there :)

Gorgeous!!!!!! And a big congrats. Both our cars are very close in production time, so mine should be in soon. Per your info, I ordered a Ctek extension! Out of curiosity, do you know how many port calls there are for cars coming into West Coast? Mine is on its way to the UK from Emden.

I was told that only LP G's can charge/maintain battery from plugging into the cigarette lighter port, not the Pre-LP's.

So I just connected my tender directly to the battery.

I use this CTEK Tender and it's been really great.

And if you want to plug it into the lighter port, you will need this too:

And you might need this extension cord depending on where your wall outlet is:https://www.amazon.com/CTEK-56-304-...rd_wg=NdZFM&psc=1&refRID=HYZZZGR1XCJNFQHAM438
