Gallardo vs Murcielago Pics

So after scouring the internet for years I could never find a good comparison pic of the Gallardo and Murci. At best I would find a Gallardo spyder and Murcielgo hard-top or SV Murcielago and regular Gallardo; or 2 cars with distinctly different colors.

Well... the wait is over. My friend finally had his beautiful LP Murcielago delivered on Friday night... we cruised around on Sunday, had lunch, and literally jammed up the parking lot from people taking pics of the "Lambros."

I've had the pleasure of driving a Murcielago, so if any of you have questions or want more pics let me know. Enjoy!

Having owned both now, I can attest that neither one is "better," just "different."

Where the Gallardo is quick, nimble, luxurious, and comfortable--the Murcielago is absolutely none of those things. Instead, with the Murcie you have the presence and feel of driving a "true" supercar. Even on new Pilot Sports, I could get the Gallardo to squeal tires around hard bends. The Murcie, no. No she just begs for more and more and more. Driving the Gallardo you'd get attention from all of the enthusiasts, the younger crowd, and those "woo'ed" by a bright yellow sports car. Driving the Murcie you get attention from EVERYONE. It's a literal spaceship blasting down the road, something unlike anyone has ever seen.

When I first bought my Gallardo, I thought to myself, "wow, this car is a real exotic! it has so little practicality, I could never drive this very often." .......then I got the Murcie. Now, I find myself wishing that I still had the Gallardo so that I could have a comfortable daily driver to cruise around in when compared with the big bad wolf.

And I absolutely love them both. Both remarkable, incredible cars, both with their own quirks and personalities, and yet, neither feel similar in virtually any way. To anyone comparing the two, just go drive them. Depending on what you're looking for, you will find the one that fits your needs best.

Great pics, ypu can really see the difference in overall design. Love them both, but the Gallardo looks modern compared to the Murcie.
