For those that asked:

...total repair bill is now $28,000 Canadian (just to get it so that it becomes driveable!)

The car's total cost to me as of now (I'm sure more is wrong with it) is $148,000 Canadian ($129,000 US).

Gary, this really sucks! The repair bill you got sounds pretty high for changing a clutch out of a Lambo. I don't know the dealer you used but if they charged you over $20K for a clutch job....in my opinon they ripped you too. maybe they did something else while the engine is out? I did mine under $1500.00, but I did it myself...but anyways...Keep this thread going...this guy you are dealing with is a scumbag.

Also on the year you have...the pinion gear is a common item to have on those cars break. If the pinion gear breaks, it requires an engine pull also. Parts for it will run about $2600.00

About $13,000 Canadian for the clutch job.
The rest for necessary repairs to get the car running. Most recently, bearings in the rear differential and a damaged housing.

This is really getting annoying. The BBB in Virginia "administratively closed" my complaint because of a snafu: I was asked for a reply on November 20 to Teagues nonsense reply, the SAME DAY that the BBB closed the file. I sent my reply in on Nov. 22, and when I asked them to correct their mistake, they say that my issues were addressed (interesting, since they didn't get the email and fax with my issues until two days later -- within their five days permitted). Is it just something with Virginians???? My God, I can't believe what I'm thinking: "thank God for lawyers."
Anyways, if the BBB can't get their act together, I'll post my letter to them up here to help others out.

The BBB is a joke. Basically the way it works is if you complain about a company that's not a member, they try to sell the company a membership by implying things will go favorably if the company gets a membership, then, or if the company's already a member, chances are they'll close your case for whatever dumb reason they can come up with.

John Teague decides to post a response (and put his foot in his mouth). He responded here. Have a look:

(his is post #57).

Here it is:

Angry GaryS...tell the REAL story
ok gary.,, i have sat and watched this BS go on long enough,, lets tell the TRUTH.
#1 You contacted me on this car and were told that the car was being sold privately and the work that was listed had been done by the previous dealer, NOT ME(which . Thru various threads and chats we can see that you reserched this car WELL BEFORE you purchased it, and were told all about this car, the previous seller and many other lambos, but you still chose to buy it). The Lambo chat sights are littered with your questions and comments and alot of other people also commented on the car BEFORE you purchased it YOU called the dealer who claims to have had the work done and he ALSO verified that the work was done (see your threads).
#2. the ONLY reason it was sold thru me was that you were told it would be easier to get it into canada..
#3. you were offered the chance SEVERAL TIMES to fly out and inspect in person or have an inspection service look at the car, i even offered to have the car rollbacked to a foreign car shop to have them look at it.. you were offered this SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE AND AFTER you purchased the car, as the car sat our warehouse for a number of weeks before transport and you REFUSED!.
#4. after you received the car, you were thrilled, very happy and pleased(see YOUR OWN thread, where you even downloaded pics!!)
#5 IN YOUR OWN THREAD, you state that you drove the car for an entire day without any problems until the next day, when there were problems.. how do I know how you drove the car???!!! Lambo aren't your everyday Hyundi's....
#6 and as for "i have found two others who were ripped off" I don't specialize in these cars, never said i did, and never will. I'm sure one of the other guys is the idiot from georgia who bought the $4000 porsche 944 turbo off of E-bay, drove up to PERSONALLY inspect, told us he was a porsche master machanic, was told we knew NOTHING about porsches, AFTER he thouroughly inspected and drove, we took money off for weak brakes, he was happy, paid and drove away.. DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE WE COULD HAVE DONE!! he didn't have to buy the car, and NEITHER DID YOU OR ANYONE ELSE!! AS WITH EVERY CUSTOMER... you were given EVERY chance to inpect the car BEFORE and AFTER the purchase, but refused. I encourage VERY customer to inspect EVERY car, before purchse!!
and as far as you "being the proud owner of the Teaguemotorsports.com website.. knock yourself out!! it just gives me more evidence for a Slander suit. and please keep blogging, and chatting.. it gives me written proof that we did everything we could.
************************************************

Unfortunately, I wish I had known the truth about this car BEFORE paying, but as you can see in the thread, my first post was on September 10, AFTER paying for the car.
And, I never called the "dealer," and have never posted that I did. Anyways, nice of him to admit (again) that he DID tell me that the car had a new clutch and was recently serviced (an OBVIOUS misrepresentation) and for implying that he admits the car is not as advertised.
He never offered a "foreign" shop inspection.
And from receiving the car to it starting to act up (a few hundred metres -- the clutch pedal would get stuck, the horn wouldn't stop honking) to it failing completely was a few kilometres and I have proof of mileage through pictures, delivery forms, towing receipts, and Lamborghini Vancouver. No one can look at that picture of the clutch, the motor, the overall condition of the car, the leaks, the rotted pipes, the SNAILS behind the panels, etc, etc, and say it occurred in the space of a few kilometres, and no one could possibly believe that it had received a major service at 30,000 km.
Nice of you to call one of your customers an idiot! You get bonus points for customer service on that one.
The only truth here is that you lied to me and misrepresented the car, placed false advertisements, and now admit it. Thanks.

Default Here's what other buyers are saying

FYI, here's some feedback he's gotten from ebay from buyers (9 in total -- private sales so we can't tell what they bought, although it's pretty obvious the negatives are from car buyers; two of whom I've spoken to. Of the 9 total, 4 are negative and two of the positives are from first time buyers -- fake buyers? Maybe they bought toothpicks from him! Alas, the first two left feedback after I had already sent my money.)

Feedback left for Teague Motorsports on ebay:
*********************************************
paid in 24 hours car is junk a real dirt bag would lie to his own mother BEWARE
***
90% of description was a lie, mileage, all repairs mentioned were not done, etc
***
fales description, many problems, missing items, not happy
***
False description of cond. Not driveable many problems, will not return my calls
**************************************************

I'm NOT the only one this guys ripped off! But hopefully (one of ) the last.

Default Domani Motors is a rip off beware!

I bought a 04 Gallardo from Domani that was in a major accident. I found this out 6 months after buying the car. The owner Michael is a con man. Everybody local here knows his past. Stay away or be $50,000.00 upside down like me.
The dealership is full of lies, lies lies!

This thread was (is) a real page turner. 'The Lambo nightmare', could be a great Brian De Palma movie, maybe the guy could recuperate some money by writing a script.
No, seriously, I don't want to be sarcastic: it's a crime that buying a dream turns out like this. Having read everything, I believe he has been ripped off by an old fashioned vacuum cleaner salesman. This should not happen to any true car enthusiast, even when buying a F..ri.
This (horror) story also proves that this site serves one of it's major purposes:
inform people who are contemplating to buy a very delicate and expensive mechanical thing (sorry about that last word).
Conclusion for anyone who wants to buy a Lambo: POST DATA, PICTURES AND QUESTIONS on this site, and the next day: do it again.
Unless you're buying from Roy, of course.
I still hope we'll be seeing some pics of you as a happy owner/driver, Gary.
All the best, and thanks.
