What did the other side of the disk look like? (not that it matters too much at this point, just wondering)

I dont believe the clutch was replaced 2,000KM ago... unless it was REALLY abused. A 2WD car isnt that bad on the clutch.. where as the VTs are much harder on the clutches. (as any AWD car is)

How much total did you pay for the car including the repairs?

Saying someone sells crap without providing a complete and accurate account of the events is pointless. Start a new thread and post the full story if you had an issue with them. I bought a new spyder from them a few weeks ago and the transaction was quick and easy, car was exactly as described.

Simply because you didn't like the car they had doesn't mean that they sell crap...you come on here with 2 posts and start bashing a reputable dealer? Not to mention you paid WAY too much for a 99 Diablo with 21k miles...170k and still on the original clutch??? Could have taken much better care of you than that...but, enjoy the car...let's not hi-jack the thread...next time, do better research before you bash and spend more than you should...Domani is a stand up place.

Aren't you saying that they charged him way too much for a car that you would have had for a much better price? Maybe what he is saying has an element of truth then.

No, he's saying that the place the guy ultimately bought it from, which was not Domani, charged him too much.

I know that, yet he defends Domani as a reputable store. Maybe they are or aren't but he is saying they charge too much.

You need to re-read his post, he said "Simply because you didn't like the car they had doesn't mean that they sell crap...you come on here with 2 posts and start bashing a reputable dealer?" No mention whatsoever of price or what they charge.

Then he said "Not to mention you paid WAY too much for a 99 Diablo with 21k miles...170k and still on the original clutch??? Could have taken much better care of you than that"

which was obviously in reference to s3vapor's post in a different thread where he said "The car I found has 21K baby miles, body is a 9.5, interior is a good 8, original clutch-still in great shape, engine has never been pulled out, records etc. Got it for $170,000.
After a week of having it, just discovered an oil leak (i think) around the crankshaft pulley." He did not buy his car from Domani nor was the reference from Kevin that he paid too much for his car related to Domani.
