You gotta remember, most people don't have the balls necessary to handle a Lambo. That's why they stick with prancing ponies.

Thumbs up

By the way, I'm 23, so i must be a few decades behind a few of you, but I belive that Audi's takeover has been a blessing from God. While I do miss that Hard Edged Monster that was, Audi's takeover has only brought the Marque to it's proper place. No longer are the cars dangerous to drive, highly explodable, but Technological masterpieces that Ferrari has been trying to catch. Don't get me wrong, i loved my 360, and Ferrari isn't anything but the quintessential sports car, but it certainly is not the hard Edged Raging Bull... My props to Audi, may they take the Lamborghini Greatness and magnify it infinitly.

Driving the gallaro in the rain was stupid. But I have to admit the lap time was pretty good for the rain.

I tend to agree that the Gallardo has lost some of the lamborghini feel and image, but what do you expect? They bitch about the Countach being uncomfortable and then they complain about the Gallardo not being true to the lamborghini name. Can't win either way.

They shouldnt slam the Countach and compare it to a modern day car. Countach was king in its day.

Boy, has this touched a nerve! The Top Gear presenters are entertainers first and proper journos second I guess, but I did warn you.
I thought the Gallardo test was more relevant to the weather I have to live with, maybe not so much for you guys on the western side of the US. I have impressed/scared ****less countless passengers in the wet in mine. The traction is epic. Also, cast iron discs work much better than nancy-boy carbon ceramic ones in the wet so the slightly weak dry brake performance I can live with. Like I said earlier, don't take the criticism too seriously, it's just entertainment. We get to live it for real, and that suits me fine.

Okay I've come to the conclusion that I need a Lamborghini Gallardo with Iron breaks and an F430 for nice days....I've owned a 360 and then a Gallardo in their respective seasons....So what, is Lamborghini Just an off season car? **** THAT!! A Ferrari Doesn't RAGE like a Lamborghini...but really, tell me what you think, unless you haven't got the balls.

Car for ALL seasons, ALL conditions, hence 4WD and cast iron brakes. Rear drive and ceramic brakes are fine on a dry track but both slow you down in the wet, on real roads. Try a 360 with ceramics in the rain if you don't believe me! Might explain why most F car owners I know don't take their precious little donkeys out in bad weather.
