Default Sneak Peek of 08 Espada

Sneak Peek: 2008 Lamborghini Espada

Lamborghini, a division of Audi AG, is said to be preparing several new sports cars that will revive classic Lamborghini names, like Miura and Espada.

One of the proposed models is a 2+2-seater coupe, a reincarnation of the Espada that could resurrect the original9s front-engine layout or shift to a mid-engine, four-seater configuration. The latter-day Espada could be derived from the Audi Le Mans and from the Gallardo.

The choice of engine options ranges from the Audi V-8 to the Gallardo9s V-10 and the Murcielago9s V-12.

A mid-engine derivative could be production ready by late 2007. A front-engine Espada would likely not appear before 2009.

It's just a prototype. The front end does show a serious lack of ingenuity. It's to elongated for my tatses, they need to sleek it out.

Make the Front Scoops a little smaller and I think the car will be both Georgous and a big hit!

I don't really like the design direction of the new stuff. Too soft and has lost the edge that the pre-Audi stuff had. This Espada is no exception.
Just my two bits.

I don't know I kind of like it. The front end is radical enough for me.
