HA! If you think 5,000 is a lot...you should try driving a C6. There's another one exactly one mile from me. Mine is an '06, and I think Chevrolet made 36,000 for the 2006 model year alone. You saw ONE like yours at a random stoplight?? Oh, the horror.

Actually, I hear ya. It sucks to see your car everywhere, which is exactly why I'm looking for either the perfect Countach or maybe a Gallardo, I don't know yet. I only know of two Gallardos in my area. There's a great Ford GT for sale in town, but at the risk of sounding snobbish...it IS a Ford. Pretty rare and very powerful nonetheless, and I admit to being one of the few who really likes the look. Then again, it appears we Countach lovers are, in the grand automotive scheme of things, in the minority as well. Of course, considering the content of this thread, is that such a bad thing?

I just sold my C6. I was so tired of seeing so many. And the hit on resale. What a joke. Its Americas worst depreciating car.

Yea, I was pretty upset to see the resale value go to hell in a handbasket so quickly. I mean, sure, you expect some quick depreciation, but c'mon. Goes back to that whole 36,000 thing...

Fun car, though.

A Miura, a Urraco, a Countach and Diablo Roadster and an Espada.
well I don't agree with you, the F430 is really hard to get... and if you are a first time ferrari customer it will cost you around 340,000.00 for a spyder =)
I like both ferrari and Lamborghini but I will go for a Gallardo because this is easier to get, you can get a spyder for around 210K and this is a Audi company...

Come to Naples- there is no dealer here. I drove my friends F430 spider to his house for him last week one night and on a 6 mile drive I came upon a F360 spider and another F430 spider.

Default a place where there's no exclusivity

....if you want to have a Lamborghini and feel as "non exclusive" as having a C6 ...try living in Dubai like I do. I my apartment building there are 3 other Lamborghini's including a coupe which parks 30 feet from me...last weekend when I drove to a local club, my spyder was parked between 4 Ferrari's and in front of 2 Bentley GT's and 2 Porsche GT2's...its actually scary that it seems like every car valet parking attendant knows how to drive my car

You might not agree with ihateferrari but most of members in this forum disagree with you yannorlando. There are tons of F430s out there.....gallardo is not MUCH easier to obtain than f430 as you've mentioned. Sure there are mark ups but with financial stability to afford 200k+ cars and much-needed enthusiasm, i don't think mark ups are obsticles. There are more F430s in number than gallardo, and please don't even compare f430 to urraco, miura and jalpa. you will make a lot of people mad in this forum including myself.

Know what ? I wish I would encounter Lambo's all the time. I wish the parking lot at the mall was crowded with them. Being surrounded with beauty, instead of ugly SUV's, pimped Mazda's and the likes, well, life would look somewhat more tasteful. On the other hand: where would you put your groceries ? Imagine 65 Gallardo's with a trailer. No, sorry about that.
We are still looking at a 150.000 €, completely unpractical, not family friendly, and not exactly cheap-to-maintain-and-insure car here (this is my wife talking). Seen too many, hello ?
