cool larry, I'm glad we saw the same thing! this grey color is the "fighter jet" i was talking about...i think i looks better with the gold rims. a throwback to the miura days.

the side vent is the "reverse fan" I was speaking of, and notice the cross stiching and roomy interior?!

the bonnet is clear, and amazingly its glass! luc told me it was the LP650, cuz of 650 HP, but now I guess is the 640...maybe the 10 hp decrease allowed them to make certain engine adjustments to allow the heat in the back to decrease.

Larry,
when you were there, did they have the new model cutting machine up and working? Its these two laser guided arms, and they put a block of clay (or whatever) up, program what they want into the computer, and "VIOLA!" they have a LIFESIZE model of their prototype! Its pretty fricken cool and saves them A LOT of time!

Ooops, my mistake.

Your way more observant than I am!

I think I would have to see the interior in real life because to me it kinda looks like a plaid jacket or something (just without all the colours). The new body design is amazing. The murcielago now seems like a fully, well rounded car now!! Especially with all the new adjustments! I love how Lamborghini keeps on pumping out new amazing cars!

I se now, the taillights are just one colour now too.

I love the new Rims.

The front spoiler however (please dont shoot me for this) looks like a body kit I've seen on civics.

Thats all for now.

Jonathan,

So is the left side scoop in front of the rear tire, the oil radiator for
which the KLD site on the LP640 indicates the following:

"The design of the sides is also worth mentioning: while the area behind
the air intake on the right side is practically closed, the left side features a
vast aperture for cooling the oil radiator."
...
"To meet the thermal requirements of the engine,
the engineers have foreseen a considerably larger oil radiator and
subsequently, the air intake on the left side of the vehicle has been
enlarged."

So the right side is scoop is essentially closed with respect to the
left side? Did you check out the right side scoop by chance?

I could only see the left side of the vehicle.

I don't think they're discussing the VACS system as they talked about that
seperately.

Larry

By the way, ITALIANSPEED has some design drawings up on the LP640.
The car looks much wider in the drawings. I can't say that I perceived that
in person from the angle I had.

However, on the LP640 front spoiler.
When I saw it from above, my head immediately said: Diablo SV,
not tuner Civic. But maybe when you see it, ... who knows.

As far as Cost, on Top Gear's site, they said LP640 has a
15,000 Pound Sterling permium over the 170,000 Pound Sterling
6.2 liter model's price.

Default Looks Good

I really like the new concept. Wish someone would post pictures of the clear engine cover though.

Not sure on the cross stitched leather either but 640hp is a good thing.

No mention of a better clutch though????
