Default Murciélago Roadster has made its on-screen debut

The Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster has made its on-screen debut this week in the film 'Batman Begins', directed by Christopher Nolan and produced by the Warner Bros

The Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster has made its on-screen debut this week in the Hollywood blockbuster 'Batman Begins', directed by Christopher Nolan and produced by the Warner Bros Entertainment Inc.
In the film, billionaire Bruce Wayne (Batman), played by the actor Christian Bale, can be seen driving the Lamborghini supercar during his private life scenes, occasions when he does not use the famous Batmobile.
Powered by a 12-cylinder, 6.2-litres, 580bhp engine, the Coupé-based Murciélago Roadster can be equipped with either a manual gearbox or with a robotized 'e-gear' system. The open topped car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and it is able to reach a maximum speed of 320 km/h.
The Lamborghini was a natural choice for the Batman movie, as the way its doors open perfectly matches the enduring image of the superhero speading his wings. Furthermore, in another twist, the name Murciélago means 'bat' in Spanish. The film was released in the USA and in the rest of the world from June 15th.
Batman Returns

In this latest big screen installment of the comic hero's capers, Director Christopher Nolan's 'Batman Begins' sets out to explore the origins of the Batman legend and the Dark Knight's emergence as a force for good in the mythical city of Gotham.

In the wake of his parents' murder, disillusioned industrial heir Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) travels the world seeking the means to fight injustice and turn fear against those who prey on the fearful. He returns to Gotham and unveils his alter-ego: Batman, a masked crusader who uses his strength, intellect and an array of high tech deceptions to fight the sinister forces that threaten the city.

Just saw the movie. It was a nice shot of the car, but I wish they had it in more than one scene!!
I thought that it was going to come out again when he asks Gordon "Can you drive a stick?" but not so. Oh well.

Ayanami : You just reminded me bout Singapore. When I was there, I went to this huge 24 hr dept store called Mohd Mustafa or something, somewhere in Little India, Serangoon Rd, pretty ghetto area by Singapore's standards.

I dont know why but I was just thinking about a Diablo and as I was driving out from the parking lot, and exactly 2 seconds later a metallic light blue Diablo roadster passed by right before my eyes.

I mean, what's a Diablo doing there?? lol

But anyways...

The movie was great, it's gotta be the best Batman movie, period, besides all them sketchy fighting scenes. The chicks were hot but the car was even better Hopefully the carbon fiber top will make it look better.

Hi
I've never seen the blue Diablo, but there's a beautiful yellow Murcie I've seen a couple of times...
And hummm..there is no ghetto in Singapore...everyone is free and equal...under close surveillance of the police and censure, of course ...safety, health and cleanliness for everyone have a price
