Look guys, if Luc wants to do a new Miura, it will not be ugly like that
original picture.

I was in Centro Stile in late July, and I didn't see anything ugly in there !!

I just saw beauty and clean designs !

No hes still with Lamborghini. That was his main stipulation with Seat. He told them he also had to be able to still be head of design for Lamborghini. He's kind of "temping" there I guess you could say to help them get going again.

what do you mean by problem solved? hopefully you aren't bashing luc.
he's an amazing designer and really helped in the process of keeping lamborghini alive. not to mention hes probably the nicest guy ever as Scramjet and a few others can probably also attest to.

I agree, Luc is one of the best things to happen to Lamborghini in the last few years, IMO. The designs are clean and sharp, a little different from the absolute design insanity (genius?) that went into the Countach, but excellent all the same. Nothing like what we've seen here. Donckerwolke could make a huge improvement on this... thing.

Completely agree!! Besides being a great designer, he's a Very nice guy and a
real regular guy like us, who is also passionate about cars, like us. He wants to make people as passionate about Lamborghinis as he is.

Another reason he's staying at Lamborghini, is they need him for continuity.

I thought I just read that Luc went over to SEAT. It was a recent organizational announcement. Ironically, Volkswagen/Audi also owns SEAT. Perhaps you guys a more up to date informtion.

You guys aren't reading what we're writing !

We talked to Luc IN PERSON !! AFTER the news that he was going to SEAT
came out!

He told me and Jonathan (seperately) and there was an announcement
at the dinner the night before the Running Of The Bulls this past August,
to everyone there, that he was NOT leaving Lamborghini, contrary to
the press reports such as you referenced.

A requirement of the deal for him to take over the design team at SEAT,
is that he stays at Lamborghini as a designer (not head of design) and is
also going to lead the design team at SEAT. I hope he is able to juggle
both !!

I hope so too!! But I have no doubts that between having houses in both Modena and Barcelona, jumping across the Med - he'll be able to do it. It was so funny, when I went to Centro Stile, he had to offices, as he put it "theres my office as a designer, and heres my office as the boss." Luc is gracious fellow that is obviously used to double-tasking.
