They can't make a new Countach, they can't make a new Muira.

Those are CLASSICS that cannot be upstaged!! What a stupid idea to ever reuse one of those monikkers!

MAYBE an LM style vehicle would be cool, but it should come under its own thunder and let the LM002 remain an historic icon.

MAKE A NEW CLASSIC, LAMBORGHINI!!!! MAKE A NO-HOLDS-BARRED ELEGANT STATEMENT THAT LACKS IN LOGIC AND CONFORMITY BUT EXCELS IN THE SPIRIT OF ART IN TECHNOLOGY!

Im sorry but this magazine it totally bogus..." a highly placed insider" Lamborghini release all and everything we want to know, they are very good at secrecy. I mean no gallardo spyder pics were released unitl Geneva even though countless people had seen them in person (including me) I was at the factory less than a month ago and spent the whole day with Luc. The do have the new murci the LP650 coming in 07, but tahts IT. I also saw a small model of some sort of LM type SUV...it was way cool and Luc said - we want to do it, but we have to wait and see. I saw every inch of the factory and there was nothing that looked anything like any of these cars. Sorry to spoil the fun! Maybe some day. But then again I dont think Lamborghini is really about "re-introducing" these classic cars. There are only so many different types of sports cars. And "smaller" 2 seater is going to be compared to a miura, and suv the LM, and any 2+2 the espada. Even the murci could be compared to a diablo. The point is they are different cars. The only things to trust are from the factory itself.

If you read the article carefully the author states the Muira picture is an artist's rendering. It was probably photoshopped from a picture of an existing car. It kind of looks like a Ford GT.

However, don't forget the original Muira design was inspired by the Ford GT40 so there may be some resemblance if or when Lamborghini launches the new Muira. I just believe it is encouraging in this day and age that car companies are confident enough to develop, let alone produce, exotic performance cars. Lets hope these new vehicles make it to the street.

I hope it is a fake, the pic looks too familiar... like a lotus elise in the front and maybe a Pantera in the windows.

That's not true. Many spy pictures of the car were shot from the Nurburgring. You know the ones, black tape all over the car but otherwise no camoflauge whatsoever.

Not bad, but it looks like a cross between a Gallardo and a Chrysler ME Four Twelve.

aka: the concept s....

further more, to recreate the "miura" it would not necessarily look like one because the true spirit of the miura is radical and unpractical and shocking. i feel as though every lambo is a "remake" because they all hold the same spirit the feruccio was going for...style. power. grace. beauty. etc etc etc
