The Lamborghini Murcielago was named for a bull named for a bat. Bruce Wayne, well, he dresses in a bat-themed costume and calls himself "The Bat-Man." Apparently, Lambo honcho (and dapper man) Stephan Winkelmann felt that the synergy was a fine, fine fit, noting that the company only allows its vehicles to be used in films it likes. The flick, tentatively titled The Dark Knight, drops in '08. No word as to whether the Austin, Texas Ice Bats will be making a cameo. – Davey G. Johnson

Winkleman is being very, very careful to not overproduce these cars, which I think speaks volumes about how the brand is doing and where it will go in years to come.

Also, Batman rocks and seeing the murci in the next one will be a treat for sure. It was in the first one, that is certain. They really are a perfect match.

Hey, where are the two hotties that belong in the passenger seat of that pic?
Also... what up with that pic? To me the drivers side seat is a tan colour and the passenger side is black?

they are different colors. This is an option from the company. The first roadster (copper color) had a black seat and a green one.

It's meant for very absent-minded drivers. This way they always know which seat to choose. 'The green one is for driving'.
