Lamborghini Wins Again
Haha just picked up the latest issue of Sports Car International. The cover sports the LP640 with the 599GTB run much smaller along the top. Thought I'd share the best quote,
"In terms of horsepower output, outright performance and driver involvement, the LP640 eclipses Ferrari's current top sports car, the 599 GTB. As a result, the newest Lamborghini follows in the tradition established by company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini. He always expected his engineers to design more powerful and faster sports cars than those offered by his arch rival Enzo Ferrari. THEY HAVE SUCCEEDED!" (Will admit, I added the all caps and ! )

Agreed, nice article on the Lambo, however, 2 pages later in the article about the Ferrari 599GTB they write:
"The 599 GTB combines exhilarating, supercar performance with impressive, GT-style luxury, comfort and space. For that, it may just be the best all around sports car in the world." What's up with that? Last edited by hydra : 07-15-2006 at 01:27 PM.

I would like to see Lambo win races instead of who has the highest HP. One thing about Ferrari...they have a solid history of racing.

ahahaahah i know, but the philosophy behind ferrari is track/race use, lamborghinis have always been "made for the road" as they used to say.
To be honest, i dont really care for racing history all that much, as long as the car performs, what does it matter if it has the medals to match?

Lambo doesnt do racing because it would be bad for business. Ferrari has so much racing experience that lambo would never be able catch up. Thus people would think ferrari makes better cars period and lambo sales would decline. Just my point of view.
