Many people purchase used, and its often better for the soul to just pull the trigger on a car that's 95% of what you're looking for rather than holding out another 6-12-+ months to be 100% satisfied, especially when you have options like wrapping available.
Also, it's nice to change things up for a while, if you're looking for a fresh look for your vehicle.
I've also heard it can be more economical to do a matte black wrap than to purchase a matte black painted car, because the paint itself can be very high maintenance, and can be easily damaged. (Someone please confirm/deny that, not 100% sure if it's true)
