Default Where do you buy your oil?

Just curious where you guys get your oil from. I picked up 2 quarts of Castrol SLX Professional OE SAE 5W-30 Full Synthetic from the Lamborghini dealership today for $40. Seems a bit high and I'm sure there are cheaper places to purchase from. I was there for an event they had today so it was convenient but would like to find an alternative source moving forwards.

Do places like Discount Auto Parts or Pep Boys have much better prices?

Same exact oil I buy from volkswagon dealer for 10 per quart.

They are gonna tell you it is for TDI engines but never mind what they say. It is the Castrol SLX Longlife III. No other place sells it.

Yeah I knew the price seemed high. I checked my receipt from Evan's Automotive because I bought 2 quarts there when I picked up the car 3 months ago and I paid $17 for both. $40 seemed steep. Oh well it's done now it's not like I'm going to go return them. From here on out I'll purchase elsewhere.

I should have known there was a reason they gave me this Lamborghini bag with the oil today.

I believe that oil is a bit different from what is recommended in the manual. The manual asks for Castrol SLX LLIII. That is what I got from VW. It comes in a silver bottle if I remember correctly. I will take a pic when I get home.

I believe the professional is a bit different than the LLIII.

Can someone chime in?

It was purchased directly from Lamborghini of Palm Beach so I'm assuming it's the correct oil or they wouldn't be selling it at the parts department.
