My car does the same think my OEM HID turns off when I hit a pothole
then have to wait few minutes to turn on again,only the left side
i should probably upgrade

your ballast is going bad or you have a poor connection. either way, the ballast and harness to the bulb is one piece and needs to be changed.

get a new ballast or upgrade the bulb also as a set.
