Direct injection alone will get it there... that is what Audi and Porsche (in the Cayenne and soon in the 911s) have been doing to increase hp and still keep emissions and fuel consumption inline...

FI is the easiest way to gain power tho. Heffnerperformance already has a twin turbo kit that increases HP by 300 or by 60%. Considering what they've done, 60% is a mild increase in terms of the FI capabilities. The problem then is trying to upgrade everything else around the power.
