Kratos, get the Lambo I also owned all gens of Vipers and went through the mods and now own a G spyder my opinion there's nothing like driving a Lambo for overall sensory experience especially a drop top with Fabspeed exhaust. The only thing that came close was the Gen1 Vipers in 93-95 because at the time almost nothing else on road was as outrageous and those cars had a cult following and even a really bad TV show (you know you watched it though As for the new SRT I'll wait a couple of years and see what that car does and the market for used ones.

Edmunds has just released the first test data on the Gen 5 and let's just say its going to be very disappointing to Viper fans. Barely edging out the Gen 4 and 0-60 time of 3.7. Those are not good numbers. I can hear the Nissan forums laughing from here.

Of course I would love to save the most money possible. I've considered even going back to an 04 model. Is that smart? Would the car still look "hot" after 4 years....in other words how long will it be an eye turner if I get one that old? Then I keep hearing about the clutch stuff. I guess if I get an 04, I would have to make a sure a new clutch is in the deal....?

In regards to the Viper, I'm a newbie in the sports car world, so the pissing matches between the brands don't concern me. For a guy like me, 4.3 sec 0-60 would even be a thrill. I'd bet even 4.7 would be fun. I drive SUV's, LOL.

This is a 2008 Superleggera, but you can get any year earlier Gallardo and add a wing, new bumper or a whole assortment of options to make it look unique.
There are many vendors here who sell both OEM or aftermarket parts and kewl accessories.
And a lot of guys with incredible knowledge of the car. Not nearly the drama of the Viper site..
