Default Trading Ferrari 360 for Gallardo

Need advice. Looking for a new (to me) Gallardo. Have it narrowed down to two 07's one with 10,000 miles in AZ, orange. One near me in FL, 16,600 miles, yellow. Orange has been inspected buy dealer and is 'good to go' according to the dealer. No documentation about service with the car. Yellow has fresh service from dealer and I don't think either has had the clutch replaced. Both are manual, NOT EGEAR. Both spiders and both same price. Any advice???? The dealer in AZ is Hubbard Auto center of Scottsdale. The dealer in FL is Pinnacle Motorcars in Royal Palm Beach.

it boils down to color as a personal preference. pick the color you like. 6K miles is not much difference.

also..is shipping is a concern for you?

Shipping not a concern, more concerned about clutch, any idea on cost of manual clutch replacement?

Yes, he was fair on numbers but I'm kind of Leary with 0 service history. He said he bought it from Ferrari of New Hampshire .

I prefer cars with service history. For Manual cars, there's no way to measure a clutch other than to drive it and feel it.

Would not trust dealer...get it PPI-ed.

I wouldn't even trust a PPI. I'm from Oklahoma and after buying a Diablo that gave me
Trouble despite a ppi I decided from that point on I would ppi every car AND inspect it myself. My very next Lambo purchase this saved me tremendously!! I found an '06 Gallardo I wanted in New jersey and sent it to manhattan motorcars for a ppi. They gave it a green light but I spent the money and time to fly up there myself to confirm for myself it was a good car. Long story short, within a block of me driving it myself, I noticed a ticking noise that was coinciding with the clutch going in and out. Turned out to be a bearing inside the trans. $14k repair bill. Obviously I passed on the car!! I called to let manhattan motors know and asked for a refund on the ppi. They told me to get bent. Cost me $2k in travel expense and three days of work... Just my experience. Good luck either way!

Ouch! Well I know I can at least drive the one close to me and it was serviced at a Lambo dealer near me so I definitely have history on that car. Thanks.
