I wouldn't even trust a PPI. I'm from Oklahoma and after buying a Diablo that gave me
Trouble despite a ppi I decided from that point on I would ppi every car AND inspect it myself. My very next Lambo purchase this saved me tremendously!! I found an '06 Gallardo I wanted in New jersey and sent it to manhattan motorcars for a ppi. They gave it a green light but I spent the money and time to fly up there myself to confirm for myself it was a good car. Long story short, within a block of me driving it myself, I noticed a ticking noise that was coinciding with the clutch going in and out. Turned out to be a bearing inside the trans. $14k repair bill. Obviously I passed on the car!! I called to let manhattan motors know and asked for a refund on the ppi. They told me to get bent. Cost me $2k in travel expense and three days of work... Just my experience. Good luck either way! |
