PM pricing as well please.

Question, I've considered adding a Superleggera lower splitter. Would these be enough to protect it from heat damage?

Thanks!

You'd probably want some longer tips and def ceramic coated. Seems like it would be easy enough to make this with a longer extension.

i would think they will be sufficient, keep in mind the Gallardo tips are just for "show" and arent really even attached to the exhaust.

im not sure about that, the tips dont even really get hot after driving, i would be more worried about the back of the diffuser (inside) than the front.

You have a factory SL, correct?

I think what David is saying is these run a bit cooler as they are not actually attached to the tail pipe. The constant flow of air helps cool them. I have now a similar tip. They are the titanium with a straight cut on the end. I have been considering having them coated in black as that would work better with the rest of the color scheme on the car. Now after seeing the angled cut I think I may like that better and I could likely sell the TI tips.

Here's what I have now. I have no heat issues with this set up. My concern is when the SL splitter protrudes beyond the end of the tip. I'm having to use pics from last fall as my car is out of state at the moment.

The SL tips are actually part of the exhaust whereas the Gallardo tips are built into the bumper
