Default Speaker cables to the doors

As someone might have noticed am I upgrading the stereo in my -08 Spyder. I'm keeping the headunit and added an amp and changing the speakers.

I'm now at the point where I want to run the speaker cables out into the doors. I assumed that there was a hole under the rubber clamp leading into the door but it turns out there is a cable connector there so there are no room to run cables.

Have anyone solved this problem?

I could probably use the existing cables but that would be a downer since I have already installed and hooked up the cables except to the speakers.

I don't have any answer for you but would like to know the outcome since I am headed down this path soon.

you should use the existing wiring. that's how it's normally done.

That does not seem to be an option for me since my new speakers is the "DLS Ultimate UP6i" 2-way system (Ultimate UP6i - 2-way component 6,5 inches). I need a cable for the tweeter and one for the base/mid (if I do not want to put the filterbox in the door) and as far as I can tell there is only one cable currently running to the door.

What is wrong with crossover in the door...how most installs I've seen are done unless you have super high end ones you want to show off.

I will do a write up when I'm done since I now know some very useful things that I did not find on the web.

Awesome. Take some pics if you can!

I have the shop manual if you think it would help.

The manual says it should not be in the door since it might rattle around. As far as I know it might not even fit. I also do not want it in the door because I want to be able to adjust the sound in an easy way (there are adjustments for the tweeter on it).

I have taken pics of the most important stuff. :-)

Do you have the shop manual in digital form?
I do not know if it will help any.

Manual is digital - if you already have it apart, prob not much use.
