I know with the 360 the F1 pump was a ridiculous price then some figured out an Alfa? part would substitute and now Ricambi sells the pump for a drastically reduced price. Hopefully this issue has also run it's course on the Gallardo.

FWIW, I have owned an `04 and now an `07 G, both egear, for almost five years now, have put about 15k combined, and have had no problems, egear or otherwise. The `06-`08 cars are smoother, and 1st. and 2nd. gears are taller than the earlier Gs, but I don't know if they are any less problem prone egear-wise.

You'll have to contact them for details, but I'm guessing that they will take apart your e-gear actuator and replace worn and/or broken components in your e-gear actuator.

No issues with my '08 Spyder E-gear. Just had annual service, minimal clutch wear and new Pirelli's, but that was it.

my 09 has 14k miles and 95% left on the clutch, but that's a whole different e-gear than pre 09
