Default Searching for Early Model Gallardo

I've been looking for an early model Gallardo 04-06 for some time now and wanted to know if any of you could maybe assist me regarding the attached car? Not sure if anyone has any history or knows anything about this one?

Thanks in advance for you time and assistance.

I know that I had inquired about the car and received a bunch of calls back after I lost interest. They seemed pretty desparate to unload it so you might get a great deal. Nothing scared me away, there was just another car in California I liked better. It was a little too pimped out for my taste. They don't have the original wheels and I didn't feel like having to find a set.

I've talked to them and the car needs a 15K service which is really no big deal. Car has recent clutch, which is nice. Price seems to be pretty good? Thanks for the response....

The guy I spoke with did seem to know quite a bit about the car. I asked a bunch of questions about the maintenance history where I didn't think a Chevy dealer would have a clue, but he did. I looked at a bunch of cars that had leaky rear main seals and I'd guess this car is ok given the recent clutch.

For comparison, I just bought the same car with eGear, glass bonnet, stock wheels and 9,500 miles for $94.5.

That's what surprised me too regarding the history! They had pretty much everything in line and knew the history. I guess the owner bought it for his son and now they are just trying to sell it, thus the Chevy dealer having it. Not sure if it's electrically sound given the history of batteries replaced! Carfax shows, I think, 3 within a year period or something like that! It's a pain trying to find the right one! I definitely want a manual 6 speed. Congrats on your purchase!!

Car belongs to a friend of mine, who is also a member on this board. His username is "Hurley", and he gets in and out of cars every few months. Car was purchased from Lamborghini in Miami I believe, and they actually replaced a few small things he wasn't happy with before he took delivery, so the car should be in good condition. We texted quite a bit when he was looking for the car, and also while he owned it, so that he wouldn't get a problem car. See thread below for when he bought the car, and I agree the price is very fair. Good luck on your search for a new car!

I'm always amazed how people can fall in and out of love with a car in a month or two.
