I can't even imagine driving a Lambo in San Francisco, you better know where you are going for sure!

This has been an issue for me for some time (not in SF so a little off subject)...I don't drive my "nice" car to anyplace that I'm not certain as to where I will park....need to find the "right" spot. So I end up driving another car - which sucks the fun out of the evening. So as I get closer to buying a Gallardo, this thought has crossed my mind yet again. So the question....do you ever valet your car? Last thing I can imagine doing is giving my car to a kid to find a good spot.

All you have to do is pull up and ask the valet where to park the car. You keep the keys no matter what they say. Never let anyone drive it. It is not worth the aggrevation when they damage the car (I speak from experience)

I agree, I can't believe anybody would toss their keys to a kid. I hardly ever park my car. I go for drives, never to a destination.

Thats precisely what I do, DR, the hotels seem to have enough space available and generally are happy with short term $$ that they make, no key. what sort of problems have you encountered?

Ray, I LOVE the drive to our Ranch in Merced. About 150 miles (oneway)of more or less smooth twisty Country roads. I can pull this off once a month if I'm lucky! So that means drivin the streets of San fran, if I wanna enjoy the car.

You are lucky. Northern CA is so beautiful. I would love to haul my car up there and drive the coast sometime.
