I visited the factory in Sant'Agata a few weeks ago, and saw 3 Gallardos pull out for test drives. Two of the 3 looked "regular" (one had some modifications), but the third had a modified rear end.
Key differences.... 1) valance around exhaust has small round cut-outs for the exhaust pipes: no more "round pipe in a rectangular hole". 2) more agressive lower side spats The pix show a yellow "older" Gallardo, and a red "newer" (?) G ################ The factory looks more impressive now that they have dual lines (one each for the Murcie and Gallardo). We visited it in 2002, and it looks much better now. The museum has also been updated -- more Diablos, including several special racey variants. No Cala ![]() |
