Forget this nonsense, it's a normal Gallardo with an after market shield for the air intake

Default seen new Gallardo rear-end ?

I visited the factory in Sant'Agata a few weeks ago, and saw 3 Gallardos pull out for test drives. Two of the 3 looked "regular" (one had some modifications), but the third had a modified rear end.

Key differences....

1) valance around exhaust has small round cut-outs for the exhaust pipes: no more "round pipe in a rectangular hole".
2) more agressive lower side spats

The pix show a yellow "older" Gallardo, and a red "newer" (?) G

################

The factory looks more impressive now that they have dual lines (one each for the Murcie and Gallardo). We visited it in 2002, and it looks much better now.

The museum has also been updated -- more Diablos, including several special racey variants. No Cala

yeh, did you notice the side mirrors are slight different shape?
the rear wing is taped down? and the engine bonnet area is taped?
the rear quarter panels has side marker lights that are centered?
the rear tailight is different more for the usa market
on the current usa model, the side marker lights are located at the wheel arch line and much cleaner look.

the red G could have been a earlier prototype, too.

could it be the new sv? Because if the sv gallardo is putting out 550, that extra area in the rear aids in cooling?

2007 seems a long way ahead for some fairly basic modifications to the car - do you mean 2006 ?
