Default Ownership advice on a G

At 28 I'm finally going to get a lamborghini but I'm having trouble deciding between a G and a 25th Countach. I posted this in the Countach borad as well and indicated that I know the cars are not similar in most respects but passion not logic will likely be the deciding factor.
The car will clearly not be my everyday driver but at this juncture in life I don't want to have constant issues when I do drive the car twice a week.

I notice many folks have made comments regarding how the 05-06's are better than the 04's....If I get an '04 am I going to be dissappointed given this will be the 1st sports car I've owned? What changed between 04 and the 05-06's? My everyday driver is a Range Rover Supercharged so I have nothing to compare it to. What kind of maint an other issues should I be prepared for during ownership?

Thanks for the help...Be safe! (Please forgive any spelling errors as that has never been my strong suit)

If this is your "first sports car" an 04 is all the car you need and then some! You should be able to get a good low mileage one for about $130K Which could save you around $40K from what a newer one would cost. Just make sure it has the software upgrades, which should be done anyway at no charge.

This might not be specific to the car, but just good buying advise in general.

dont go for the countach... if its ur first sports car.... go for a G i would recomend a 6 speed... so u learn up for a classic purchase.. like the CT.

after all no pwer steering and heavy cluch is hard to drive...and u dont need that as this is ur first coup let alone super car....

hope that helps
