Rasasse said it perfect.

I also had been a long time Ferrari customer, was excited about the new 430; couldnt wait to get one.

In the interim, I bought a murci roadster, and forget Ferrari now. I have a 360 spyder in my garage and I have put 100 miles while i put 2500+ on the roadster. You can not compare. I test drove a Gallardo and it was a very fun ride. I have ordered a G-car so I have something to drive in the rain. With the AWD it will be the perfect car in the rain.

I have no desire to buy another Ferrari again. Before I bought the lambo, I had heard the story of Ferrari owners that bought a Lambo never came back. It didn't make sense until I bought one. Once you make that leap, you will never go back.

Well, that's Adelaide for you

How about sending a bit of it up north - we could certainly do with it.

Cheers

I drove my G-Car in a very heavy rains in Vegas for a week, once the water was up to the door sills-it sounded like a flat bottom baot, it didnt leak a drop. It drove great in the deep water too, Infact it was about the onlything I liked about the G-car, The Murci is fine too in the Rain. I wouldnt drive the GTR in the rain it would slip and slide all over the place.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I am really leaning towards the Gallardo now, especially with the prices relatively soft right now. I will let everyone know if I find one, and will be sure to post pics.

Regards,
Rick

i bought my G in dallas, drove it back to ga during a tropical storm to atlanta ga. it rained for 10 hours straight. I averaged 120 mph in the rain for approx 3 hours. some time it was really loose, esspecially when passing transfer trailer trucks.

my wife was scared, but i we confident. the car was solid... not all over the road. triple digits is not a worry int the G during rain, the traffic is the worry.

my wife was scared, but i knew she could hold the road.
