Hello Lamborghini Owners,

Torro Exhaust is proud to offer the newest performance exhaust available for the Lamborghini Gallardo LP550/560/570 model platform. Our manufacturing process ensures the highest quality performance exhaust systems for Lamborghini & Audi applications, and are manufactured 100% here in USA.

Torro's unique exhaust dual-pass w/ integrated X-pipe design differentiates itself from the rest of the options currently available for Lamborghini exhaust market. In addition, our proprietary acoustically tuned noise cancellation chambers completely eliminate unwanted resonance without diminishing sound quality. Torro's design is loud when you want and Quiet when you don't, truly the best of both worlds without the use of any unnecessary valves.

Using the most advanced 3D printing technology, more time went into engineering our brackets alone than most others put into their entire exhaust systems. This level of attention to detail and quality separates our products from other existing products on the market place. One look at our product close-up pictures demonstrates the confidence in the quality level of our products.

Perhaps the most significant differentiation of our performance exhaust design is that our LP5XX Exhaust is the only exhaust on the market to utilize a full 3.0" (76mm) bore! Extensive research and development required the entire exhaust system to be fully re-engineered from the ground up. Months worth of testing our 3.00" (76mm) exhaust design ensured for maximum HP & TQ at high rpms on the track, while simultaneously improving mid range torque for the street (dyno proven).

Beyond design alone, Torro also looked to improve the actual quality of the raw materials to produced all of our exhausts (all components are sourced 100% locally from the USA to ensure the highest standard of quality). Furthermore, through our extensive testing various different internals components it became very clear that virtually every exhaust on the market is using an inferior packing material that burns off and degrades over time. It is for this very reason why aftermarket exhausts all continually get louder and louder over time, this is not so much a "breaking-in" of the exhaust as it is a "breaking down" of the actual acoustical material inside the muffler canisters. For that reason, we turned to the Aerospace industry to source a proprietary composite capable of withstanding extreme temperatures of 2500F+ without any sign of degradation to ensure consistent sound quality for the entire lifetime of the exhaust.

By going that extra mile in choosing only the highest quality materials & manufacturing processes, Torro Exhausts aims to provide the maximum performance possible while maintaining the optimal sound for the life of your Lamborghini

Feel free to browse our website to learn more about our products (sound clips & dyno charts). If you have any further technical questions or comments please don't hesitate to message or email us at your convenience.

Torro Exhaust is the ONLY Lamborghini exhaust manufacturing company sold exclusively through the OEM Dealership Network. All Torro Exhausts must be purchased and installed by certified Factory Master Technicians at your local participating OEM dealership to ensure proper installation is performed flawlessly.

Torro's unique exhaust dual-pass w/ integrated X-pipe design differentiates itself from the rest of the options currently available for Lamborghini exhaust market. In addition, our proprietary acoustically tuned noise cancellation chambers completely eliminate unwanted resonance without diminishing the sound quality. Our unique design is Loud when you want and Quiet when you don't, the best of both worlds without the use of any unnecessary valves of any kind. Perhaps the most significant differentiator of our performance exhaust design is that our LP5XX Exhaust is the only exhaust on the market to utilize a full 3.0" (76mm) bore. Extensive research and development required the entire exhaust system to be fully re-engineered from the ground up as no manufacturer has ever attempted this revolutionary design before in such a compact space. Months worth of testing our 3.00" (76mm) exhaust design ensured for maximum HP & TQ at high rpms on the track, while simultaneously improving mid range torque for the street (dyno charts on website).

Beyond design alone, Torro also looked to improve the actual quality of the raw materials to produced all of our exhausts (all components are sourced 100% locally from the USA to ensure the highest standard of quality). It is for this very reason why aftermarket exhausts all continually get louder and louder over time, this is not so much a "breaking-in" of the exhaust as it is a "breaking down" of the actual acoustical material inside the muffler canisters. Literally every single material we put into the exhaust from Fiberglass based, stainless steel mesh, course metal packing, etc all burned off after a thousand miles or so. Nothing could sustain the abnormally high exhaust gas temperatures our exhausts must endure by being so close to the headers in our mid engine layout. For that reason, we turned to the Aerospace industry to source a proprietary composite capable of withstanding extreme temperatures of 2500F+ without any sign of degradation to ensure consistent sound quality for the entire lifetime of the exhaust.

Okay well I am going to quote the best line in your sales pitch and then I want everyone to look at the second picture...lol.. You need to fire your entire quality control department!!!

Apparently your engineering dept couldn't figure out how to keep the welds on all four corners of your name plate!!! First impressions my friend and I bet you are selling this exhaust for several thousands of dollars from all that fancy engineering with the most advanced 3D printing technology anyone has ever seen!!

Looks like the name plate is fused on there and they slipped up on the top left one.Fusing to those that don't know is TIG welding without filler rod. You're basically using the existing metals to mold together.

The name plate is no biggie but in this pic you can tell they applied too much heat.Thats why the weld looks sunken in.

Looks pretty decent aside from that.I too wonder what the price is.I don't understand why no one ever wants to post a price instead of having people email.

We appreciate everyone for all of their enthusiasm regarding our products. Tejstars post was particularly amusing :) . If being nitpicky about the name plate is the primary concern then we are definitely doing something right!

For clarification, the name plates were intentionally tacked on, or "fused" as Advan stated, for aesthetic reasons. This was done out of intention, not out of an oversight. Using filler rod would have produced a thicker bead which would not have looked as aesthetically pleasing, therefore this is more of a stylistic choice, not a quality control issue because afterall, its a name plate that has no structural load of any kind. Its purely there for aesthetic reasons... so there is certainly nothing wrong with our "quality control" department lol.

Regarding Advan's statement, that is an astute observation, but the reason the welds "sink" in as such is not because of too much heat, it is because all of our welds are Argon back purged. Anytime you back purge with Argon the welds will tend to behave as such. Most would not go to such great lengths as it is more expensive to back purge using Argon, however, it produces the highest quality & strength welds possible with the least amount of impurities, and the welds on the inside look just as good as they do on the outside. Again, going the extra mile for the highest level of quality.

The pricing will be released publicly in a few days time ... just for added suspense :)

Yes, although it is impossible to recreate sound exactly with a microphone, the sound clips on our website provide a decent representation of the exhaust. We can assure you it sounds even better in person.

For those who have ever heard a Super Trofeo race car in person, this is probably the closest recreation to that sound for the street. The 3.0" 76mm design has a very unique distinct sound as it allows more of the engines character to be revealed through the exhaust note. You can also hear the precise ignition cutoff between shifts (similar to F1 cars), which normally can only be heard on excessively loud exhausts.

Furthermore, the larger bore design allows for a meatier more aggressive idle & cold start without being obnoxiously loud. Also, it eliminates the "truck" sounding exhaust note that many of the louder exhausts exhibit below 3000rpm (as numerous forum members have commented on when upgrading exhausts on our V10s). Such refinement is paramount on such expensive cars, and we spent a great deal ensuring the exhaust note sounds great even at lower rpms while cruising around town.

Ugh, another mod that they don't want to let us install.

Some of us buy cars because it's our hobby and we like to wrench. Nice to have a dealer network who will install for the guys who just like to drive, but for many of us that will cost you sales.

Just my $0.02 nice product otherwise, but would like to see some dyno sheets as well.

Steve,

We do appreciate your enthusiasm for wanting to install exhausts and other components yourself. However, it is important to view it from our perspective as the manufacturer.

You can browse hundreds of threads on forums all over the internet for examples of great products from great companies that would purchased by the consumer and were improperly installed either DIY or by unqualified 3rd party independent shop. Once the shop would not take responsibility the consumer would then post a negative review on the forums blaming the manufacturer for the "faulty" product when in reality it was the end user / shop that installed it improperly. The internet forums are filled with such type of scenarios; often times by people trying to save a few bucks up front they end up costing themselves much more down the road.

Moral of the story is its often better to spend a little bit extra on labor to get the job done right by a professional factory dealership technician to avoid such scenarios stated above. Our exclusive distribution model helps prevent these unwanted scenarios and will potentially the consumer money in the long run. We hope you can understand from this new found perspective.

Secondly, We have not released the pricing yet so do not assume that it will be too expenisve or "cost us sales". You may be pleasantly surprised :)

Pricing will be released later this week....

This looks like it will produce a nice pitch similar to other x-over exhausts.

What is the function of the two boxes pictured?

I'm with others who've commented regarding the weld quality. I can believe the integrity of the welds shown is sufficient for the application. But, IMHO welds should be appiled with artisan craftsmanship on a product like this. Carefully crafted brackets provide clean lines and value in utility, but near perfect welds evoke emotion, and that I think is what you want to be selling into.

Hello KD,

The two "boxes" are the acoustically tuned noise cancellation chambers. They have a proprietary noise cancellation internal design that ensures the maximum amount of passive noise cancellation in the smallest amount of space possible by utilizing 3 points of noise cancellation (chamber entrance, X-pipe, chamber exit). The angular design of the chambers not only do a better job of noise cancellation, but they also better match Lamborghini's naturally angular character... truly the best possible example of form follows function. For that reason, it's unique dual pass w/ X-pipe crossover design is the only one of its kind in the market place. In addition, no other exhaust on the market has a full 76mm diameter construction thereby changing the tone/pitch of the exhaust note. For that reason Torro Exhaust's character is unlike any other currently available.

Also, I think you may be confused regarding the weld discussion. That was in reference only to the name tags, which we intentionally chose because it was purely for aesthetic looks reasons. Every weld is of the highest level of artisan craftsmanship possible and no expense was spared in ensuring maximum quality. Every Lamborghini Master Technician that has seen our exhaust in person said it is by far the highest quality unit they have ever seen (at any price, much less ours :) ) and they could attest that the weld quality was superior any aftermarket unit they have come across in both fit and finish (and they have seen quite a few in their tenure).

Often times, aftermarket exhausts companies will intentionally polish their exhausts not to make them look shiny, but in order to actually hide all the flaws and imperfections created during the manufacturing process. Torro does not do this in practice because we take pride in manufacturing our exhausts the more difficult way to produce a highest quality exhaust. Also, we are proud of the level of our quality & craftsmanship and want to display all the finer details which separates our level of quality from the rest. We trust that anyone who sees our exhausts in person sitting next to anything else in the market place ... the choice would be obvious.

Pricing coming soon :D

Pricing Statement

Torro does not believe in excessively charging Gallardo owners the all too well-known "Lamborghini Tax" simply because the owners are more affluent. Such practices are viewed as unfair and borderline unethical. For that reason, it was our goal from day one to provide the absolute best in performance for the most reasonable price point possible.

Our fair pricing strategy is quite simple: X (raw materials cost) + Y (manufacturing labor costs) = Z (MSRP price). To charge anything more is to charge unfairly and goes against our core companies values. Others may charge significantly more, however, we would rather provide a better value and pass on the savings to you!

Thank you for your kind support and comments, we truly appreciate your enthusiasm.

Normally we do not like to discuss other brands products specifically out of mutual respect as it is company policy. Torro is aware there are other "exhausts" on the market at a lower price, however, a set of straight pipes does not truly classify as an "exhaust". They are really simpler by design, require little to no engineering behind them and are far cheaper to produce. For that reason it is not fair to compare apples vs. oranges.

To compare fairly, if you we were to charge the same profit margins as our competitors given our significantly higher manufacturing costs we would have to charge upwards of $6,000+ for our exhausts. Given how the Gallardo market has changed so much over the past 12-24 months and the cars are beginning to drop substantially in value... the era of $6,000+ Gallardo exhausts is coming to an end. For that reason we opted to offer the exhaust at a significantly lower price at much thinner margins and make up the difference over time through higher volumes.

In the end its a win-win for the consumer: Higher Quality, Lower Price!

Thank you,
-Torro Exhaust -

Khanhdom,

Our LP5XX exhaust has a true 2.5" quad tip design. Many others utilize a smaller 2 3/8ths or 2.25 design. The 3.0" diameter tubing extends all the way down to the tips and spits into a quad 2.5" design for maximum airflow at high rpms. No other exhaust system on the market has this arrangement and is truly unique to our exhausts.
