Spent some time at the dealer the other day. Drove a 550-2 spider for the 2nd time. They are talking about $203k for a 2012 new one.
Now in that same price range, I could have a 1st gen Murci roadster, or an early LP-640 coupe. Have never driven a Murci. What are your thoughts on these options? Also, does anyone know if the e-gear in the non-LP Murci is the same/better than the 2006-2008 Gallardos? |

I agree on the pricing for the Spyder but you should def drive a Murci before making up your mind if possible.

curious since you have a G, you think that's the better car? my friend who had an lp560-4 spyder which prompted my purchase of the same, is now back in the market and he's looking at murcie's as well... my drive in one left me underwhelmed, hence the lp560 purchase.

I've heard that for a "drivers" car, the G is much more rewarding in that regard.
Although, I'd love to have one, the Murcie (LP640) is more of a handful, difficult to see around, etc...but has an amazing road presence. I've never driven or been in a rolling Murcie. Yet.

I can't even fit in a Murcie well enough to take a test drive.
![]() If I fit in it, I think it would have to be a horrible drive for me not to pick it over my G. The G might be the everyday Lambo, but I don't drive it every day anyway. What do you want out of it? Drivers car? Arrivers car? Driveway candy? Quarter mile maven? Canyon carver? So many intended uses will get you different answers.
