Need info on part disassembly: third brake light in 04-08 G

Hi folks

I have an SL getting a wing replacement. I have a friend with a non-SL. He is willing to trade his third-brake light segment for my non-third-brake light segment since he has an SL wing added to his car that has a third brake light (essentially we each relocate our third brake light).

Does anyone know how this piece is removed? Is it glued on? Bolted somehow? My buddy at the shop cannot figure it out and I am not able to go lay eyes on it myself.

Are you trying to remove the third brake? There's 2 screws that hold it into place. There's 2 small taps on the third brake light. Those pop off and the screws are hidden behind those.

Will those screws allow removal of the entire panel as well, that the brake light sits inside of? We need to swap the entire assembly, light and trim piece together.
