Ok, right now im already over the fact that I could buy a new hummer, dodge viper, and a corvette and still be paying less for those three cars then if i purchase the Gallardo. My only concern right now is the maintanence. Im not worried about the yearly $2,000-$3,000 cost, im worried about my location and how far the lambo dealership is from my house. I have heard that for proper checkups and maintinance you should only go to a lamborghini dealership, (whether this is true, i dont know) and the thing is how far the lambo dealership is from where i live. I live in PA, and the closest one to me is the NJ dealership (3.5 hours away) and then the Manhatten dealerships (5 hours away). Now, how do you guys deal with this situtation, and is it practical to pay an extra say 1000 dollars (atleast) to have the car being transported to the dealership and back?
thanks |

our rates from Portland to Seattle are about $350.00 each way...it's about the same distance as NJ for you.
Shouldn't be much more than that... There is of course, always the option to drive the car there...which is both FUN and good for the car !!! Stretch its legs, have some fun !! Kevin Cats Exotics www.CatsExotics.com |

Hi Rippx:
I live about 200mi from the dealer I use. To answer your question, I pay to transport the Gallardo for service - cost about $1000. To help justify the transportation I ask for a complete check of all the systems and to proactively change the battery (every 24 months) any filters, etc. that should be changed for the next 12 months. Good luck with the purchase - the Gallardo is a great vehicle. |

With you living a decent distance away from your dealership. I would drive it there. Make it a fun trip. While you are there, go eat at a restaurant that you like in the area, or find a new store or something like that. Driving any car for a good amount of time is good for it. Maybe you will find a nifty twisty road on your way there or back that will make driving the car even more fun. If not, we all like to get in our cars and just drive to escape from our daily life and to feel free.
