Default Need advise

Hi, I am about to purchase a 04 G and in Singapore because of high taxes, import duties etc, my G will set me back $560,000 or US$362,000 (I know people from other countries will never understand this outrageous price but this is the reality.) Anyway I tested it and it is an EGear and has 6,000 kilometers on it. During low gear at traffic lights this car shudders like hell, sort of making jerking movements. The seller ( the Lamborghini dealer) tells me that this is how it is for all 04 G. I find it hard to believe and was wondering whether there may be other problems like clutch problems that he is not telling me. I researched all over the web and have not heard anything about such a problem with the G at low gears. He claims that this is a characteristic of high performance cars....is this true? Can anyone help me? If it is a clutch problem why is it so at only 6,000 kilometers?

Wow..how much is it costing before taxes and duties ?

I have had a 06 spyder for a few weeks...I have noticed it takes just the right touch of gas to move into gear smoothly...are you using the auto mode ? It is much jerkier than normal shifting...try giving it gas very slowly but steadily increasing until it moves out...and as soon as you get steady speed, shift to 2nd...

but it should not be "shuddering like hell"

Default still confused

A 06/07 G cost S$850,000 or US$548,000 here in Singapore Thank you for telling me about the shifting technique but if it does shudder despite paying careful attention to gear shifting, then what is causing this shuddering problem? The Lambor dealer says that for the 06/07 G models those shudder has gone away.....so what he is saying is that for the 04 G models the shudder is there but I have researched it every where and have not read of anyone who has experience this. The shuddering is sort of like a forward jerking movement when the gears shift and yes you are right, the jerk is more pronounce while using auto mode. I am still confused.

My friends 'o4 G does not shutter or jerk. There is a point if you are going too slow for the gear, the car will shutter and jerk a bit, but this will happen with manual trannies too. Make sure you are not going too slow for the gear.

From my experiences, E-Gear cars do not like to move at slow speeds at all. They seem to hate it and they are hard to do so. Stop and go traffic is where you really notice it. But, I have never had a shuddering problem in any E-Gear car I have driven.
